Lamar Jackson made the headlines on Monday, 7th April 2026, when he arrived at the Ravens facility for the voluntary offseason training, which would only be his second one since he embarked his NFL career.
The Ravens QB arrived at the the facility in style wearing an oversized sweatshirt that read “i love jesus” on top of a camouflage printed design.
While many fans rejoiced the initiative that Jackson took by showing up to the voluntary training and setting the tone for the entire team, others criticized his dressing choices.
“The NBA would cut him for wearing that sweatshirt.” one fan reacted.
“Amazing Hoodie.” another fan wrote.
“Lamar showing up on Day 1 of the offseason program says everything. No drama, no holdout talk, just the reigning MVP walking through the door ready to work. Ravens need a bounce back year and it starts with this kind of leadership setting the tone from the jump.” another fan highlighted.
“This is extremely concerning and antisemitic of Lamar. He has to know that the NFL has rules and exhibiting any sort of praise for our lord and savior will not be handled lightly by the league.” another fan pointed out.
“We now have missionaries carrying the message of Jesus on every football field, basketball court, baseball diamond, soccer field around the world. The Lord is wonderful. The very activity that has captured the minds of the youth have been given the truth.” another fan said.
“Woah! This is great! What is God doing to these rich and famous football players?! Putting smiles on their faces. Giving them something other than being the best to live for. Wow, God is on the move!” another fan shared their thoughts.

Analyst Weighs In on Lamar Jackson’s Arrival at Baltimore for Training
The Baltimore Ravens posted a clip of their star quarterback, Lamar Jackson, arriving at the facility to join the voluntarily offseason training program, which he has been skipping for the most part of his eight year career.
Dan Orlovsky talked about how it’s a big deal for Jackson to appear for the training and said that it’s the start of the the star quarterback’s second version as the franchise is building so much around him for the upcoming season.
Orlovsky highlighted how the Ravens are coming off of a season where they fell short of expectations as an organization after being Super Bowl favorites at the beginning of the year
“He didnot play up to the standard that we wereaccustomed to. He had injuries, six andseven as the starting quarterback lastyear, which was the first time in hisNFL career he’s had a losing record. Andso now it’s this completely newexperience in Baltimore. And Lamar’sheading into the prime of his career.” Orlovsky added.
Orlosvky further drew comparison between Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, calling both of them MVPs that are now getting to be a part of a new regime at their franchises.
