**Man City Women’s star Lauren Hemp has called on her side to maintain their focus ahead of a crucial final couple of months of the season.**
City are nine points clear at the top of the WSL with just three games remaining and also reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup by beating Birmingham 1-0.
They will resume their quest for silverware on April 25 against Brighton, following the international break, and Hemp says she is hugely excited by the potential of a league and cup double.
“I’m at this club because I want to win trophies and we haven’t won many recently, so that is the dream,” she said.
“As a team, I know we’re capable of winning trophies, we just need to show that in the most important times.
“It’s an exciting couple of months ahead.”

Bunny Shaw scored the only goal of the game in their FA Cup quarter-final win, and reflecting on the victory, Hemp said: “The most important thing is getting the job done and getting through to the next round – whether it’s pretty or not,” she declared.
“One week, we’ll play fantastic football and the next we might be struggling a bit. But we’ve got a great togetherness in this squad and we stick together.”
City will now take on Chelsea in the semi finals of the competition.
