Manchester United and England defender Harry Maguire has committed his future to the Red Devils after reportedly signing a new contract extension at the club.
Harry Maguire had been in the final six months of his Manchester United contract since January and the defender was tipped to leave Old Trafford in June.
The 33-year-old England centre-back was free to speak with clubs outside of England during January and could have signed a pre-contract agreement.
Maguire has enjoyed a resurgence in form under Michael Carrick and has been a key United first-team player for the Red Devils interim head coach since January.

Harry Maguire could have received ‘more money’ had he chosen another club away from Man Utd
The National reported that there were three other Premier League clubs, four Serie A sides and a Turkish team that could have swooped in for Maguire on a free.
The former Hull City and Leicester City defender could have also ‘earned more money’ at another club had he chosen to leave United at the end of the season.
However, it is believed that Maguire is ‘settled’ at the Red Devils and his family dynamic with his wife and two children was an important part of his decision.
Maguire, who has been at Old Trafford since 2019 after his high-profile transfer, has been viewed as an ‘important figure’ in the Man Utd dressing room as well.
The Red Devils defender is believed to be ‘happy’ with his time at the Premier League club after his return to prominence under United legend Michael Carrick.
