Former New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is going viral once again for an off-field incident. However, this time it has to do with his ex girlfriend Cardi B and her ex Offset. It was reported late Monday evening that rapper Offset has been shot outside of a Florida casino. He was taken to a local hospital immediately.
The incident comes just a few short months after Diggs and Cardi B had a public public falling out at Super Bowl LX.

NFL Wide Receiver Stefon Diggs Goes Viral After Rapper Offset Is Shot At Florida Casino
TMZ has confirmed that rapper Offset has been shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The incident was first reported around 8pm EST on Monday Night. Per an Offset Spokesperson the rapper is “currently fine and receiving medical care” at a local hospital.
He spokesperson added that he is stable and being closely monitored:
A rep for the Seminole Police tells TMZ, “We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.”
The rep added, “Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”

Diggs Goes Viral Immediately After The Shooting
Diggs has not been linked to the shooting in any way, however, his close ties to the entire situation has fans talking. Cardi B and Offset divorced in December 2024 after Offset was accused of cheating numerous times. The two share three children together. Stefon Diggs entered the picture in late 2024 right around the time that Offset and Cardi B separated. Rumors swirled about their involvement together and in April 2025 the two were spotted at Coachella together.
In May 2025 the couple decided to go public as they attended a New York Knicks game together. In June 2025 they went “Instagram official.” It was Cardi B’s first public relationship since her divorce.
While Diggs started trending immediately across social media platforms, the Police released the following statement:
A Seminole County, Florida, police spokesperson toldPage Six on April 6, that two people have been detained and that no life-threatening injuries occurred.
