Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has reportedly played a key part in bringing Valentin Barco to Chelsea in the summer window.
Of course, nothing is yet confirmed or fully agreed, but as the days pass it is becoming more and more clear that Barco is soon going to become a new Chelsea player.

It’s an easy one for the club to do because BlueCo are obviously the owners of both Chelsea and Strasbourg, who Barco currently plays for.
Rosenior worked with Barco at the French club last season, so he will know all about him and what he can bring. And the Blues boss was apparently one of the elements that convinced Barco to make the switch.

Spanish journalistAndrĂ©s Onrubia Ramos reports that ValentĂn Barco will play for Chelsea, with a full agreement in place for the summer.
According to him, the 21-year-old has agreed a six-year contract with the Blues.
Sport Witness follow that up and report that Liam Rosenior’s influence has again been central. The Chelsea manager worked closely with Barco at Strasbourg and is said to have played a decisive role in convincing the player to accept the move.
