The Cleveland Browns are one of many teams with two picks inside the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, and for Cleveland, they have two very clear needs.
With a hole at left tackle and at wide receiver, the browns have often been linked to both of those positions in Round 1. However, there have been some questions about which player would come first and what players they could acquire at either spot.
In a recent mock draft from ESPN's Peter Schrager, based on what he's been hearing around the league, the Browns are projected to draft a Utah offensive tackle and a Texas A&M wide receiver to resolve their two biggest needs in Round 1.
Browns projected to draft Utah OT, Texas A&M WR in R1
With the Browns' first pick at sixth overall, Schrarger is projecting Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano to be the pick.
"Fano is a rare prospect in this draft in that he has true versatility across the entire offensive line," Schrarger writes. "He can play tackle and guard, and he even took snaps at center during the combine."
This kind of player would be perfect for the Browns, a team that is looking to overhaul its offensive line from a year ago completely. Fano could be the left tackle, or if needed, he could start at right guard or another spot along the OL.
But, with their second first-rounder, the Browns are projected by Schrager to draft Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion.
"I've had multiple sources compare Concepcion to Zay Flowers," Schrager writes. "New offensive coordinator Travis Switzer and new coach Todd Monken both had Flowers in Baltimore, and they could get creative with how they use Concepcion in this offense."

Concepcion is a fun WR prospect. He had 919 yards and nine touchdowns on 61 receptions. He is 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, and along with his intriguing receiving profile, he had some punt return upside as well.
If the Browns could come out of the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft with both Fano and Concepcion, which is very possible, it would be a great first round of the draft for Cleveland.
Fano would be a perfect versatile OL for the Browns who could start at left tackle or one of the other spots along the line. Concepcion would give Shedeur Sanders a true playmaking WR.
This is a nice haul for the Browns from Scharger's mock draft, and one that, if it were to come true, would be one of the better drafts in the league.
