Chelsea have made a big step forward in their summer plans. The club has agreed personal terms with a young defender and is now very close to signing him. This exciting news has Chelsea fans smiling as the team gets ready for the new season. The player is 21-year-old Valentin Barco, who once played in the Premier League.
Valentin Barco: The rising Argentina star
Valentin Barco is a fast and skilled left-back from Argentina who is only 21 but already has experience with big clubs and even his national team. He is great for Chelsea’s fast attacking style of football. Barco already has experience at the international level (with Argentina), which suggests he is ready to compete at the highest level possible.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared the latest update where he said Barco has now “said yes” to Chelsea. The personal terms are agreed, and the player is happy to join at the end of the season. Moreover, Chelsea and Strasbourg have the same owners, there should be no big problems with the fee or the paperwork.
Chelsea are in full control of when and how the deal happens. Romano also said on his YouTube channel that Barco and his agents gave the green light to leave Strasbourg in the summer and move to Premier League. The player is ready and excited.
