Chelsea and other clubs will have an opportunity to sign one of the best players in the Premier League this summer: Mohamed Salah.
Last month, Liverpool confirmed that Salah, one of their greatest-ever forwards, is leaving Anfield at the end of the season.
Many Chelsea supporters want the club to sign some more experienced players. At 33 years of age and with 323 Premier League appearances to his name, the Egyptian meets the criteria.

Chelsea fans against the idea of re-signing Mohamed Salah
While Chelsea fans do want to see more seasoned footballers arrive at Stamford Bridge, they have reservations about Salah joining the club.
Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville thinks Salah could return to Chelsea, who sold him to AS Roma nearly 10 years ago.
On TalkingPoints, The Chelsea Chronicle asked supporters would they take the Egypt international back. In response, many said no!
One Chelsea fan acknowledges that selling Salah was a mistake but does not think bringing him back would be a good idea. They said: “No! Mistake was made but let’s move on.”
Another Chelsea supporter wrote: “Whilst he would bring experience, it’s not up front where we really need such experience, it’s in defence.”
One TalkingPoints user fears a repeat of what happened with Raheem Sterling. “No, another Sterling, that’s why he is for sale.”

Chelsea should consider re-signing Mohamed Salah
You can understand why Chelsea fans have reservations about signing Salah. He has really declined this season, managing just five goals in 22 Premier League appearances.
Given what Salah is capable of doing on the football pitch when he is at his best, though, Chelsea should not be too quick to say no to signing the former Roma star if his wages are reasonable.
He could be a low-risk, high-reward signing if the finances are not crazy. However, considering what Salah is already on and what he could get from a club in Saudi Arabia, for example, the likelihood is that he will ask for a massive wage packet.
