“The Mayor Of Chicago Is Renewing a Push”: Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson Wants the Chicago…

The Chicago Bears are in the middle of an interesting stadium situation for the future. For now, they are playing games at Solider Field in Chicago, Illinois, but the Bears maybe leaving the state of Illinois altogether if politicians in the state don’t get their act together.

There is a chance that they could leave the state entirely and go to the state of Indiana. They would head to Northwest Indiana if the Bears can not stay in the state of Illinois.

Front Office Sports posted something interesting on its Twitter page about the latest situation with the Bears stadium situation. They said, “The mayor of Chicago is renewing a push for a downtown stadium site for the Bears. The team remains focused on suburban options in Arlington Heights and Hammond, Ind., despite the city’s efforts to keep them.” If the Mayor is able to keep the Bears in Chicago, this would be a huge win for him despite some people not liking his politics.

There would be a lot of people who would be furious if the Bears left the state of Illinois altogether for the state of Indiana. Even though it would be in Northwest Indiana and only like a 35-minute drive from Chicago, it would upset a lot of fans. The most important thing for Johnson and others is that this team stays in Chicago or in the state of Illinois. It would total malpractice on state politicians if the Bears left the state entirely.
