With how the league season has been going for Leeds United, no one would have tipped them to do what they achieved over the weekend. The Whites managed to reach the FA Cup semi-final.

It was almost a slight scare when West Ham scored twice in added time to force the game to extra time. And it was even more stressful when the Hammers had the ball in the net just after extra time kicked off. Leeds United managed to hold on for the 30 minutes and the game went to penalties. Lucas Perri saved two spot kicks as Daniel Farke’s side advanced to the semi-finals.

Leeds United allocation for FA Cup semi-final revealed

Leeds United will take on Chelsea at Wembley later this month. The two sides have had very different paths to the semi-final; the Whites faced lower tier sides before facing West Ham. The Blues however, are yet to face Premier League opposition, and will only do so when they meet Leeds at Wembley.

Wembley Stadium has a capacity of 90,000, but ticket allocations between two teams is never set at 45,000 each. Some spaces are allocated to separate home and away fans, while Club Wembley and commercial partners also have a share of the allocation. In the 2023/24 play-off final, Leeds United were given around 35,796 tickets with more restricted view tickets were released closer to matchday. Last season’s FA Cup semi-finalists were given between 34,000 and just over 36,000 tickets each – which is expected to be the same this year.

That number is equivalent to the full allocation at Elland Road, so the Whites will have no problem filling the seats. Leeds United have over 75,000 members, which means the club could sell out Wembley stadium with their own supporters.
