#Woof: Huskies Land Talented 4 Star Quarterback

Happy Tuesday Husky fans. The Huskies got some massive news today when 4 star quarterback Blake Roskopf from Desert Edge HS, AZ committed to UW. The Huskies had been lurking for a while with Roskopf but were able to sway him after an unofficial visit during junior day. Listed at 6’5” and around 235 pounds Roskopf has a an NFL frame and a very good arm that have college coaches salivating. Roskopf is rated as the 12th best QB in the composite rankings, and he had offers from around the country including Auburn, Georgia, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, and UCLA. Landing Roskopf is gigantic for the Huskies as they now have one of the top QB’s in the country committed and he will be one of the centerpieces of the 2027 class which can now build around him. Last season Roskopf threw for 2,815 yards, 37 TD’s and 8 int’s. When you watch his film you can see his ability to make all of the throws and I see some shades of a less mobile Josh Allen.

With 2 wideouts already committed in the class, including his current teammate (Zerek Sidney), this commitment of Roskopf should help the Huskies in their pursuit of players like 4 star wide receivers Osani Gayles, Dontay Tyson, and Tre Moore (all are heavily looking at UW).

Roskopf is the 11th commit in the class, and Husky fans join me in welcoming Blake to Montlake.
