Leeds United have been drawn against Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final, due to take place on the weekend of Saturday 25th April.
United’s return to club football over the Easter weekend brought a huge FA Cup quarter-final clash against West Ham at the London Stadium.
In the process, Daniel Farke shook off not only our London curse, but also ended a 39-year wait for an FA Cup semi-final by winning on penalties.
Leeds United’s trip to Bournemouth moved to Wednesday 22nd April ahead of FA Cup semi-final
Straight after our penalty shootout victory, the draw gave us a mouthwatering semi-final tie against Chelsea at Wembley.
The semi-finals, with Manchester City facing Southampton, are due to be played on the weekend of Saturday 25th April.
While there’s no confirmation yet of which day Leeds are due to face Liam Rosenior’s side, the Premier League have confirmed a fixture rearrangement in the meantime.
Leeds were due to face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on the 25th. That fixture has now been rearranged to Wednesday 22nd April.

Premier League hand Chelsea FA Cup advantage over Leeds United with shock fixture statement
Of course, Rosenior’s Chelsea are having to rearrange their league fixture on the weekend of the semi-final too.
They were due to play away to Brighton that weekend on Sunday 26th, but have seen their game also moved to midweek.
Now, you’d imagine that with Leeds facing Chelsea, fairness would dictate that the Blues take on Brighton on the same evening we travel to Bournemouth. Think again.
The Premier League have confirmed that Chelsea are due to play on Tuesday. This means they have 24 hours’ extra rest than Leeds before the FA Cup semi-final.

Our kick-off date at Wembley is unconfirmed, at the time of writing. However, Leeds being put on the Wednesday night slot against Bournemouth strongly suggests our clash with Chelsea will be on Sunday 26th.
Even then, Chelsea come into the game at a clear advantage with extra rest. Both sides play on the Saturday of the weekend prior. Leeds host Wolves at 3pm, and Chelsea take on Man Utd at 8pm.
