Hailee Steinfeld, Bills quarterback Josh Allen's wife, is already back to work after welcoming their baby girl.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is back at practice to prepare for the 2026 NFL season after he and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, officially became parents.
Steinfeld shared an update on their life in her newsletter, Beau Society, last week. “To say we are unbelievably happy and in love with this baby girl would be an understatement,” Steinfeld wrote.
While she enlisted guest authors to help out with new issues of Beau Society, “I’m soaking in the newborn bliss, but I’ll still be writing here every week.”
The famous couple isn’t letting a newborn keep them from living their lives. Shortly after giving birth, Steinfeld and Allen made their first public appearance, attending Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold’s wedding to Katie Hoofnagle.
A few days later, Allen reported to One Bills Drive for the first day of voluntary workouts on April 7. However, the new Girl Dad isn’t the only one returning to work this week.

Steinfeld partnered up with Ashley Luxe furniture for her latest brand deal. In an interview with Architectural Digest, which took place just before she gave birth, Steinfeld opened up her home life with Allen.
On preparing the nursery, “I have been going back and forth on so many details — more than I care to admit, but it really has been such a fun part about getting ready for this new season of life.”
The 2024 league MVP and Steinfeld wanted their rooms to be “inviting,” somewhere “you could spend hours in and not get tired of.” The Bills star is also enjoying the couple’s latest purchase.
“We just got a new coffee machine. I’m not the biggest coffee drinker, but I really do appreciate the ritual of it. There’s something about just watching my husband on a slower morning – when he has time to make himself a coffee—[partake in] that grounding, small act of care before the day begins. I love that.”

The couple spends a lot of time in the kitchen, where Steinfeld loves to make her signature dish. “It’s this wonderful one-pot chicken, artichoke, orzo recipe that’s kind of taken on a life of its own. We’ll throw in different vegetables, and I have it down so well now that I feel free in it where I’m not following a recipe, per se, or feeling confined to certain measurements.”
When it comes to eating dinner, “it’s a mixture of both” when it comes to dining in front of the TV or at the table. “The preference is not in front of the TV. I value a meal away from technology, and even if it’s just the two of us—[or] if it’s us with friends, with family—that time is so limited with the opportunity to have uninterrupted conversation over a great meal,” she said.

When asked if there’s an item in their home with sentimental value, “There’s one that I am looking at right now that we’ve actually started a little collection of,” Steinfeld revealed.
Steinfeld and Allen tied the knot at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California, on May 31.
“It’s this porcelain, hand-painted sleeping pig that we brought home from the place we got married, and it represents prosperity and good fortune, and it’s also just so beautiful. I just love it, and we have a few of them around the house.”
The actress’s two dogs are also beloved members of the household. While she prefers to keep them off furniture, “They’re family.” Steinfeld told Architectural Digest. “So the rule gets bent.”
