Mike Vrabel and the New England Patriots are just a few months removed from losing Super Bowl LX to the Seattle Seahawks in fairly convincing fashion. However, that is not what fans are talking about as the off-season is in full swing. The 50-year-old head coach was caught on camera with famous sports journalist Dianna Russini in, what appeared to be, some intimate moments.
The story caught so much attention he had to issue a statement about it.

Patriots Head Coach Mike Vrabel Issues Statement About Photos With Dianna Russini
Vrabel was seen at an expensive hotel with Russini just two weeks ago. Sources at Page Six took photos of them hugging, holding hands, and spending a serious amount of time together by the pool:
A Page Six spy tells us that the pair — both married to other people — had breakfast on the patio of the hotel restaurant around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, before spending a leisurely hour or so together at the pool and lounging side-by-side in a hot tub.
Our spy spotted Vrabel and Russini again that evening on the private rooftop of one of the hotel’s bungalows, which feature glass walls offering panoramic views of the state’s famed Red Rock formations.
Vrabel himself saw these pictures and the report go viral immediately and decided to go public in his defense:
These photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable. This doesn’t deserve any further response.

Who Are Mike Vrabel And Dianna Russini Married To?
Vrabel has been married to his wife Jen Vrabel since 1999. They initially met at the University of Ohio State where they both attended in the mid 1990s. Jen played volleyball and was a two-time AVCA All-District selectee. Mike was a two-time All Big-Ten honoree.
Dianna is married to Kevin Goldschmidt and the couple met in 2015, however, they kept their relationship mostly private until they went public years later. They were married in September of 2020 during an intimate ceremony during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Between the two they have four children (2 and 2). It will be interesting to see if there is any further fallout from this situation.
