He said: “I believe we’re on a forward curve with the club and I want to be a part of it. I want to leave the club in a good place when I do leave the club. That’s the most important thing.
“It’s not about me. It’s not about the individual. It’s about the team. Next season could be a special year.”
Maguire is one of the few Glazer era signings who has proven himself under Ineos, and Ineos have rewarded him right back.
