Impressed by the reaction of the enthusiastic fans who visited Carton House, Mbeumo said: “I didn’t expect that to be honest.
“Yesterday [Monday], we arrived at the hotel and there was a lot of fans. Even this morning, before and after the training.
“It’s always good to see. We’ve got a big base of fans and obviously [we are] happy to sign and take pictures with them.”

When do Man Utd return from Ireland?
United will fly back to Manchester on Thursday when the four-day training camp comes to an end.
That means they will have a day or two of training at Carrington before taking on Leeds in the Premier League.
It’s been a long break for United since their last game, which ended in a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth.
Carrick will be hoping the team benefits from the training camp in Ireland by finishing the season strongly and securing Champions League qualification.
