Journalist: Moises Caicedo’s form has dipped but Chelsea fans still love him

Journalist Liam Twomey believes that the form of Moises Caicedo has dipped but Chelsea fans still love him.

To be honest, out of all of our new signings made under BlueCo, Caicedo has overall probably been the best one so far, with Cole Palmer a very close second, and Estevao Willian well on his way to being mentioned here too.

Caicedo has just been very consistently good. Palmer has been superb too, but his form has been very inconsistent along the way. In recent games though, Twomey of The Athletic claims that Caicedo’s form has also dropped.

Speaking about Enzo Fernandez and Chelsea captains in the wake of the drama of the last couple of weeks, Twomey said in his latest Athletic article:

‘He [Moises Caicedo] is every bit as emblematic of this BlueCo project as Enzo Fernandez and his approval rating among Chelsea supporters is much higher, despite the fact that his form has dipped noticeably in recent months.’

In other news today…

Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer has been speaking about Chelsea’s test against Man City this weekend and his own level of preparation. He’s also been speaking about his own form of late.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are closing on a deal to sign Valentin Barco from Strasbourg this summer, and it is Liam Rosenior who has apparently played a key role in convincing the player to join.
