With just over two weeks to go until the 2026 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears are busy finalizing player evaluations but also, keeping a close eye on the trade rumor mill to potentially acquire some veteran talent.

One name that has popped up is New York Giants defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, who requested a trade. One of the NFL's top interior defenders, acquiring Lawrence would fill a position of need for the Bears and significantly upgrade the defensive line.

For this episode of The Halas Beat, hosts Usayd Koshul and Steven Letizia discuss what the benefits of trading for Lawrence would be and what a potential trade package could look like, especially since the Bears have four picks in the top-100.

Usayd and Steve also discuss some potential defensive line prospects to avoid and whether or not a lack of talent in this year's draft means the Bears could come away with more depth than starting talent.
