Jason Kelce has long been retired, but is still fondly remembered as one of the best centers in the NFL. He is remembered for his heroics on the field with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Kelce has been enjoying his retirement since then, often working on the sidelines as an analyst. He also finds time to spend with his family and playing golf, and has now done both together.
Kelce recently posted a [video](https://x.com/JasonKelce/status/2041524217942773814?s=20) on his X account on April 7, 2026, which shows his daughter Wyatt taking her first swings with a real golf club. The outing took place at MGOLF, a golf facility in the Philadelphia area.

The video shows Wyatt step up to the tee with confidence. She uses a smaller pink golf club, similar to her pink attire, and executes a full swing on her initial attempt. Many fans commented that her swing was very good for a beginner and called her a future golfer. Kelce was recording the video while encouraging her, and got her ice cream afterwards.
The caption of the video read, “Excited for The Masters this week, so I went out to the driving range with Wy last night. It was her first time swinging a real club, and she killed it. She also won closest to the pin, getting her a Mint Chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle cone. She’s hooked”. It was a heartwarming interaction between the father and his daughter, bonding over a shared love of golf.
Golf is a favorite among the Kelce family, with both Jason and younger brother Travis playing the sport regularly in the offseason. In fact, Jason is embarking on a new role in the upcoming Masters tournament.
Jason has a broadcasting deal with ESPN in the NFL, but has assigned him to the network’s coverage of the 2026 Masters Par 3 Contest. The 38-year-old will serve as an on-course reporter, conducting interviews with participating golfers and their families during the event at Augusta National Golf Club.
The traditional nine-hole, par-27 contest is scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, a day before the Masters Tournament begins. Kelce will join SportsCenter host Scott Van Pelt and reporter Marty Smith on the broadcast. It is not his first time reporting on golf, as he previously did it in March for ESPN’s TGL golf league.
Jason Kelce is happy in his new career in golf, and is preparing his daughter as well.
