Arsenal have reportedly opened talks with the representatives of RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande ahead of a possible summer move.
The 19-year-old winger is one of the most sought-after players in Europe right now, with multiple top clubs planning potential summer moves.
So far this season, Diomande has registered 11 goals and eight assists in 30 appearances across all competitions.
Premier League rivals Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for Diomande in recent weeks, but they could now face serious competition from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Arsenal hold clear advantage in race

According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal currently hold an edge over Liverpool in the race to sign the Ivory Coast international this summer.
It is understood that Diomande has made it clear he wants to be playing Champions League football next season — something Arsenal can offer.
With Liverpool’s participation in next season’s Champions League far from guaranteed, the Gunners may have a clear advantage in the race.

Diomande’s price tag has previously been set at around €100m, although Leipzig are reportedly hopeful of receiving an even higher fee.
Diomande’s contract with the Bundesliga club runs until the summer of 2030.
