Manchester City have reportedly joined the race to sign a 'German gem', alongside another Premier League club, according to Fabrizio Romano.
It's rare that Manchester City are quiet in the transfer window, particularly in the summer, so a busy few months in terms of their recruitment won't be a surprise.
Even in January, Pep Guardiola's side strengthened significantly, bringing in both Antoine Semenyo and Marc Guehi.
The Manchester club are struggling in the Premier League title race, giving them more reason to go big in the upcoming summer market.
City have also heavily focused some of their recruitment on acquiring the best young talents from all around the world, and it looks as though that's going to continue later this year.
