Senne Lammens tips Bryson DeChambeau for 2026 Masters success

Manchester United shot stopper Senne Lammens reveals he is backing Bryson DeChambeau to win the Masters 2026.

Senne Lammens is renowned for his goalkeeping abilities after becoming Manchester United’s first-choice option, replacing Andre Onana, who joined Trabzonspor on loan at the beginning of the season.

But the Belgium international is also an avid fan of golf.

Lammens will be keeping a close eye on Augusta National for the most anticipated week in golf, although he will be busy preparing for Monday night’s clash between United and rivals Leeds in the Premier League.

During a golf-centred interview with Sky Sports, Lammens revealed that he is backing Bryson DeChambeau to win the Masters this year.

“I’m a fan of Bryson DeChambeau because of the YouTube golf, so I hope he wins.

“Last year as well, with Rory winning it and being able to win four of them. All four of the majors were a special thing to watch. That’s my guess, Bryson, I hope.”

Senne Lammens names best golfer at Man Utd

Lammens isn’t the only United player who loves a round of golf.

The 23-year-old was asked to name the best golfer among his teammates.

Lammens didn’t think twice before naming Harry Maguire as the best golfer at United.

He added: “The best player is probably Harry Maguire.

“He’s really steady. He doesn’t make a lot of mistakes, which you want in a golf player. We have him and Mason [Mount] is into golf as well.

“Then, probably Tom Heaton, who is someone who talks a great game. Sometimes can back it up, sometimes can not.”
