Former Chiefs offensive lineman Jawaan Taylor lands with Falcons

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WIBW) - Former Chiefs offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor has agreed to a deal with the Atlanta Falcons, according to a report.

According to a post from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Falcons and Taylor reached an agreement on Wednesday to a one-year deal with a base value of $5 million and an additional $1 million in incentives.

The 28-year-old was released in March before the league year started. The move reportedly saved Kansas City $20 million under the salary cap.

Taylor played for the Chiefs for three seasons and started 45 games. He was a part of the Super Bowl LVIII-winning team in 2023.
