Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen's wife Hailee Steinfeld is sharing a personal story follow the birth of her their baby girl.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife Hailee Steinfeld just had their first child together, a baby girl, and they’re certainly busy with being new parents. Anyone who’s taken care of a newborn knows that it’s a lot of work. But, Steinfeld took a break from parenting on Tuesday, April 7, to share a personal story after the baby’s birth.
It’s been an exciting week for Allen and Steinfeld. The two announced the birth of their baby, who they have yet to announce the name of, in the Thursday, April 2, edition of Steinfeld’s popular “Beau Society” newsletter. Along with the announcement, the couple thanked followers for their “love and well wishes” after the baby was born. The two also attended the wedding of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold and his fiancée Katie Hoofnagle’s on Friday, April 3, which marked their first public appearance since becoming parents.
But, even while getting used to having their baby girl around, Steinfeld took a break to share some personal stories. So, she’s staying up-to-date with her newsletter even while being a new mother and learning the hopes of being a mom.

Steinfeld took to her newsletter on Tuesday, April 7, to share a story about how much she loved visiting Japan for the first time when she was just a teenager.
“The other day, I was reflecting on my first trip to Japan,” she explains in the post, which is on Substack. “Greer inspired me, obviously. Didn’t her trip look incredible? It made me excited to get back soon.”
Steinfeld shared that the first time she went to Japan was when she was only 13 years old. “True Grit had just come out, and our cast was doing promotion overseas. It was technically a ‘work trip,’ but you’d never guess it looking at these photos — that 13-year-old girl could not be smiling any bigger!” she said in the message.
Steinfeld reflected on that journey, stating, “There’s something special about reflecting on a place you visited for the first time over a decade ago. You remember it differently. You pick up on details you missed that have been hiding in your memory just waiting for space to reappear.” She also shared photos of the trip in her exclusive newsletter for subscribes.

Steinfeld and Allen splattered their love about the birth on social media on Thursday, April 2, and Steinfeld’s parents responded.
Hailee’s mom, Cheri Steinfeld jumped in, stating, “Cha Cha officially clocked in,” with pink hearts, implying that she’ll be called “Cha Cha” as her grandparent nickname. Her father, Peter Steinfeld, also got in on it, saying, “Pop Pop officially clocked in.” Hailee uncle added, “Uncle Griffin officially clocked in.”
Even the Buffalo Bills dropped a quick “congrats” on Instagram, which feels about right. This baby girl’s walking into a whole lot of love from day one, and honestly, that’s the kind of headline you don’t mind reading.
