The Vikings have these selections in the top-100: 18, 49, 82, and 97.

A case can be made that the Vikings could draft a safety, cornerback, defensive tackle, linebacker, tight end, center, and running back. What positions will they target with those top-100 picks?

Interim general manager Rob Brzezinski is in charge this year. The Vikings plan on conducting a search for a new full-time GM following the draft, with Brzezinski very much in the mix.

The Vikings’ biggest offseason so far was signing free agent QB Kyler Murray to a 1-year deal.

Murray, who turns 29 on Aug. 7, will have the opportunity to rejuvenate his career and set up a big payday next year, much like Sam Darnold did in 2024 with O’Connell and the Vikings after McCarthy was sidelined. Though Murray has not played in a system like the one O’Connell runs, his ability is such that finding a way to be productive with him ought not to be difficult for the 2024 AP NFL Coach of the Year.

The Vikings are looking to return to the postseason in 2026 after missing out last season.
