Cherries back after break but could players return for Arsenal trip? Predicted team

Tyler Adams missed the Burnley and Manchester United games before the break, and could be back, while Andoni Iraola said before the interval that they were aiming to use it to ease Lewis Cook back into contention.

But will either come back into the team? The Daily Echo predicts how the Cherries will line up at the Emirates.

Goalkeeper

Djordje Petrovic was in perhaps his best form in a Bournemouth shirt before the international break, and he will keep the number one spot.

Defenders

The back line was another settled part of the Cherries team and I expect it will remain as it was coming into the break.

That will see Adrien Truffert start at left back with Alex Jimenez on the right, while Marcos Senesi and James Hill will form the centre back pairing.

Midfielders

Alex Scott has been one of the team’s stand outs this term, and I expect he will start. But, it will depend on who plays alongside him whether he will be in the six or eight role.

If Adams is fit enough to start, I think he will come back into the side. But Ryan Christie was good in the games before the interval, and looked to be returning to approaching his best form.

So I will predict the Scot will start in midfield, and Adams will be an option from the bench if he is not back to being fully fit.

Forwards

Marcus Tavernier has been good since his return from injury, and he will start on the left, with Rayan on the right.

Junior Kroupi returned from international duty early due to some discomfort, but if he is ready to start I think Iraola will go for him in the number ten/second striker role.

Evanilson will lead the line.

Full team: Petrovic; Truffert, Senesi, Hill, Jimenez; Scott, Christie; Tavernier, Kroupi, Rayan; Evanilson.
