The latest Man Utd training news and injury updates ahead of their return to action next week.

Manchester United are currently without three first-team players during their intensive training camp in the Republic of Ireland.

Michael Carrick's side travelled to Dublin on Monday to take part in a training schedule to prepare them for the Premier League run-in. United are back in action when they host Leeds at Old Trafford next week and know three points will be a huge boost in their hunt for Champions League qualification.

United currently side third in the Premier League table, with a top-five finish enough for a place in the Champions League next season. It would be a failure if United did not qualify for the top continental club competition from this stage, even more so when they have an almost fully fit squad.

Here is all the latest injury news and return dates ahead of the Leeds match early next week:

Manchester United latest injury news and return dates

Lisandro Martinez - 13 April vs Leeds (H)

Martinez has missed the last five matches due to a calf injury but is part of the training camp this week. He is expected back in the playing squad against Leeds.

Bryan Mbeumo - 13 April vs Leeds (H)

Mbeumo withdrew from international duty with Cameroon as a precaution and has been involved in the group training sessions this week. He will be fit enough to start next week.

Benjamin Sesko - 13 April vs Leeds (H)

Sesko was another player who withdrew from international duty. The Slovenian striker has also been involved in the group sessions in Dublin.

Noussair Mazraoui - 13 April vs Leeds (H)

Mazraoui missed the draw with AFC Bournemouth last month but still featured for Morocco over the international break. He is part of the training squad in the Republic of Ireland.

Diogo Dalot - 13 April vs Leeds (H)

Dalot has not been involved this week due to illness and could be a doubt for the Leeds match. He might lack the sharpness to start the game but should still be in the squad.

Tom Heaton - 13 April vs Leeds (H)

Heaton has also missed the training camp this week due to illness. Even if he is fit next week, he might not be named in the matchday squad against Leeds.

Patrick Dorgu - 27 April vs Brentford (H)

Dorgu travelled to the Republic of Ireland this week but has not taken part in group sessions yet. United have stressed there is still no timeline on his return to first-team action, but he continues to work on his recovery with the current aim of being back with the squad before the end of the season.

Matthijs De Ligt - 9 May vs Sunderland (A)

De Ligt did not travel to Dublin this week and has been sidelined for over four months with a back injury. It is not clear when he will be available again.
