What stood out the most for Bruno Fernandes in the Man Utd vs Aston Villa match at Old Trafford in the Premier League?

Both United and Villa are pushing for a top-four Premier League finish and the encounter against Unai Emery’s men was deemed a big test for the Red Devils.

Since the 3-1 win at Old Trafford, United are now one point clear of fourth-place Aston Villa going into their final seven Premier League matches of the season.

Fernandes claimed the Premier League result in March showed the quality of his performance and Man Utd as a whole under interim head coach Michael Carrick.

“I think performance-wise it was a very good performance from my side, but also from the team,” he added.

“We [are] very good [at] closing the game and getting the three points.”

United will return to Premier League action on 13th April against Leeds United, with the Red Devils hosting their rivals in the post-March international break.
