Liam Rosenior may only have been in the role at Chelsea since the start of January, but his job may already be under threat, as per a report from **[L’Équipe](https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Article/Un-autre-joueur-de-strasbourg-a-tape-dans-l-oeil-de-chelsea-valentin-barco-future-recrue-des-blues/1665974).**
The publication understands that the former RC Strasbourg Alsace manager, who replaced Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge at the turn of the year, is pushing to bring in one of his former players, Valentín Barco, even if, despite reports in Barco’s native Argentina, a deal has not yet been completed.
However, Rosenior may not even be at Chelsea come the summer, **L’Équipe** report. After a strong start, results have been less convincing of late. Four consecutive losses in all competitions not only saw the Premier League side crash out of the UEFA Champions League at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, it also put them on the back foot in the chase for UCL football for next season.
**L’Équipe** understands that failure to qualify for next season’s UCL could spell an end to Rosenior’s reign at Stamford Bridge.
