New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and senior NFL insider Dianna Russini have denied any wrongdoing following images of the two together at an adults-only resort in Sedona, Arizona. The two were seen looking close while lying next to one another and sat in a hot tub. Other images appeared to show them holding hands and hugging.

Both have insisted the images have been taken out of context while The Athletic told Page Six: "These photos are misleading and lack essential context. These were public interactions in front of many people. Dianna is a premier journalist covering the NFL and we're proud to have her at the Athletic."

Meanwhile, Vrabel addressed the story directly. "These photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable," he said in a statement. "This doesn't deserve any further response."

Kirk Cousins on Fernando Mendoza competition with Raiders

Cousins has seemed to confirm that the Raiders will draft Mendoza while stating he's more than willing to be the back-up and mentor towards him - while acknowledging he could still win the job.

Speaking to 'Good Morning Football' this week, Cousins said: "Honestly, I don't want to start unless I'm the best option. Best players should play. As long as that's the case, I have no qualms with however it plays out. I do think Fernando is going to be a great addition to our team."
