When Mike Vrabel met with reporters at the NFL annual meeting in Arizona in late March, news recently broke that his New England Patriots would be [featured on the HBO documentary series _Hard Knocks_](/new-england-patriots-rumors/125141/patriots-hbo-hard-knocks-2027) in 2027. Naturally, he was asked for a reaction.
It had just a tad of a sarcastic undertone.
“Can’t wait,” Vrabel said.
The Patriots have never been featured on the behind-the-scenes show, with their success (and lack of desire) under longtime head coach Bill Belichick preventing participation. That, just like the NFL’s rules regarding the topic, has now changed: in the summer of 2027, the organization will open its doors to the film crew.
