Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly set to receive a financial wind-fall this summer after Chelsea agreed a deal in principle to sign Argentine midfielder Valentín Barco from RC Strasbourg, sources say — a move that would trigger a sell-on payment to the Seagulls thanks to a 10 per cent clause in the original transfer agreement.
Barco, 21, is understood to have agreed personal terms on a six-year contract with CHELSEA ahead of the proposed summer transfer, having impressed during his time at Strasbourg where he was converted from full-back into a central midfielder.
