Insider Jordan Schultz was the first to report top safety prospect Emmanuel McNeil-Warren would visit the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday. One of the top receivers in the 2026 NFL Draft joined the safety in Pittsburgh on Thursday as well — Makai Lemon.

93.7 The Fan posted on its official X account the Steelers were hosting McNeil-Warren and Lemon on pre-draft visits. NFL draft analysts expect both prospects to be first-round picks.

The radio station added Michigan tight end Marlin Klein was with the Steelers on a pre-draft visit Thursday as well.

Lemon made the All-American team with 79 catches, 1,156 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns for USC last season. He also had two rushing scores.

The receiver finished his career at USC with 137 receptions, 2,008 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns.

McNeil-Warren was also an All-American during the 2025 college season. Schultz reported the safety visited with the Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons before the Steelers.

The former All-American has a strong chance to become a 1st-round pick.

NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah ranked both Lemon and McNeil-Warren inside the top 20 on his newest 2026 NFL Draft big board.

The Steelers own the No. 21 overall pick in the first round.

The Steelers will be concluding their pre-draft visits with 2026 NFL Draft prospects over the next week. With the process is finished, Thursday might be seen as the biggest day of all the visits.

NFL analysts have predicted both Lemon and McNeil-Warren to be starters with star potential at the next level.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. had Lemon rated higher than Jeremiah at No. 9 overall. Kiper placed Lemon on his NFL Draft big board right behind fellow receivers Jordyn Tyson and Carnell Tate.

“This kid is a warrior who plays with passion. I’d want Lemon on my roster,” Kiper wrote. “He snatches the ball away from his body in an attacking manner then runs with a fierce approach after the catch.

“He is one of my favorite players in the class, and he ranked third in the nation in receiving yards per game in 2025.”

Kiper ranked McNeil-Warren at No. 24 overall and third among all safeties.

“McNeil-Warren is a hard worker who displays good speed to the football. He looks the part at 6-foot-4, and he can create on-the-ball production, with five interceptions and 10 forced fumbles over his career,” wrote Kiper. I like that he has a special-teams background, too — he can make an impact there.

“McNeil-Warren might not get the attention that Power 4 prospects do, but he’s a great football player.”

Steelers Also Host Michigan TE Marlin Klein: Repot

Marlin Klein

Getty93.7 The Fan reported the Pittsburgh Steelers hosted tight end Marlin Klein for a pre-draft visit on Thursday.

Klein was the third pre-draft visitor for the Steelers on Thursday. Standing at 6-foot-6 with a 40-yard dash time of 4.61 at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, Klein is an intriguing potential late Day 2 or early Day 3 target.

The tight end also served as a team captain at Michigan in 2025.

But he’s still a raw talent who needs more weight on his body.

“German-born prospect with average athleticism in space but above-average grit at the point. Klein’s tape shouldn’t be viewed as a finished product considering his relative lack of game experience in the sport,” wrote NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein. “He needs to block with inside hands but displays a sturdy core and strong hands to do his job in-line. He builds speed with long strides and will catch what is provided.

“More muscle mass is needed, but Klein has a chance to become a Day 3 pick as a backup ‘Y’ tight end.”

Klein weighed 248 pounds at the NFL combine.

With three more visits Thursday, 23 of the allotted 30 pre-draft visits have been determined for the Steelers. The team has also hosted three local prospects, which aren’t included among the 23 visitors.
