The 2026 NFL Draft is right around the corner as prospects are taking visits around the league, including South Carolina defensive backs Brandon Cisse and Jalon Kilgore and defensive tackle ****Nick Barrett. Each NFL team can host 30 prospects for pre-draft visits.
According to ESPN's Jordan Reid, Cisse visited the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday while NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Cisse visited the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday. Rapoport also reported that defensive lineman Nick Barrett visited the Panthers on Tuesday and the Denver Broncos on Wednesday.
Cisse has been projected as either a first or second round pick in multiple mock drafts. The Seahawks own the last pick in the first round while the Cowboys are slated to pick at No. 20 overall.
Aaron Wilson, who covers the NFL and the Houston Texans for KRPC 2 in Houston, reported on Tuesday that Kilgore is visiting the Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts, Washington Commanders, Seahawks and Texans and also has private workouts with the New Orleans Saints, Buffalo Bills and the Cowboys. Ryan Fowler reported back in March that the Philadelphia Eagles had scheduled a 30 visit with Kilgore.
In a seven-round mock draft by ESPN's Matt Miller earlier in this month, four Gamecocks were included. Cisse was projected to be selected in the first round at No. 24 overall by the Cleveland Browns while Kilgore was projected to come off the board in the third round at No. 77 overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Cisse logged 27 total tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss, five pass breakups and one interception in his one season with the Gamecocks after transferring from N.C. State.
In his three years with the Gamecocks, Kilgore recorded 178 total tackles while breaking up 21 passes and intercepting eight in 36 games played. This past season, Kilgore was credited with 54 tackles and two interceptions.
Running back Rahsul Faison and Barrett were projected as sixth and seventh round picks, respectively.
Barrett turned in a solid final season at South Carolina as he logged 42 total tackles, which included 27 solo stops, while also recording two sacks and a pass breakup.
