The Cleveland Browns are picking No. 6 and 24 overall in the first round, with picks 39, 70, and 107 down the board.
While they have a few clear needs and could stick-and-pick at No. 6 overall, the Browns could also consider a trade-down. And that's exactly what some of the latest reporting indicates could be on the table.
According to ESPN's Matt Miller, the Browns are reportedly believed to be open to trading down from the No. 6 pick with the Dallas Cowboys in a massive draft-night blockbuster trade.
Browns open to trading down with Cowboys from 6th pick
"It should be noted that some leaguewide sources believe the Browns could trade out from No. 6 to a team like Dallas, which is trying to move up for a pass rusher," Miller writes.
This would be a very fascinating move for the Browns, as the Cowboys have some valuable picks that would certainly be worth acquiring in a trade-down.
Jerry Jones and the Cowboys pick at No. 12, 20, 92, 112, 152, 177, 180, and 218. If the Browns are going from the sixth pick to the 12th pick, they could need a lot of value in return.
The Cowboys would be eyeing a pass rusher, meaning one of Arvell Reese, David Bailey, or potentially Ruben Bain Jr. could be the player the Cowboys get aggressive and trade up for.

There are plenty of possible deals that could be built with these two teams' collective picks in 2026 and 2027 to move around to make this trade-up work.
But, one possible interesting move could have the Browns sending picks No. 6 and 24 to the Cowboys for picks No. 12 and 20, while sending another pick or two as well.
This would mean the Browns move down six spots from No. 6 to 12, while moving up four slots from 24 to 20 and picking up some extra capital on Day 2 and/or 3.
Regardless of how such a hypothetical trade would work out, the report from Miller is very interesting as Cleveland could be eyeing a big trade down from the sixth pick with the Cowboys if one of the top pass rushers were to fall a bit to the sixth pick.
