The Cincinnati Bengals are picking 10th overall in the 2026 NFL Draft and will likely get the chance to take a top-tier player at a position of need.
For the Bengals, their focus will likely be on the defensive side of the ball, but the exact position of interest isn't known. At least, that was the case until now.
According to ESPN's Matt Miller, the Bengals reportedly have the secondary as their top priority with the 10th pick, with two players in cornerbacks Mansoor Delane and Jermod McCoy the top options.
Bengals linked to 2 DBs amid 10th pick priority
"The Bengals are in prime position to address their cornerback need at No. 10," Miller writes. "Mansoor Delane (LSU) and Jermod McCoy (Tennessee) sit atop the CB board, and it's likely one will be there when Cincinnati picks. After signing Mafe, it sounds like the secondary is the team's Round 1 priority."
This offseason, the Bengals made three big moves. They signed Jonathan Allen to the interior of their defensive line, Bryan Cook to join their safety room, and, most importantly, Boye Mafe to their edge rusher group.
That Mafe signing has made it so the Bengals will now focus on the secondary at the 10th pick, according to Miller's report.
For Cincinnati, a team that has Jordan Battle and Cook in the safety room, that means cornerback is now the clear top need and likely position to address with the 10th pick.

Fortunately, that's a good spot to find a cornerback in this year's class. Mansoor Delane and Jermod McCoy are the top corner options, and in most mock drafts and scenarios, at least one of them makes it to the Bengals pick.
While there could be a surprise in front of them, it would likely need to be multiple surprises, including a great player falling a bit, for both of those corners to come off the board before their pick at 10th overall.
The Bengals look primed to take a cornerback with the 10th pick in this year's NFL Draft. It's a big need, and thanks to their offseason moves already, it's the most obvious option for Cincinnati with their first-round pick.
