Manchester United could swap one unwanted player for a highly-regarded new recruit as soon as the summer transfer window opens. They return to action next week when Leeds United visit Old Trafford for Monday night football.
Michael Carrick has taken his senior squad to a training camp in Ireland to bring returning international players back up to speed ahead of Premier League action. Those who were not called up for international duty have been putting in the hard yards during the break at Carton House.
United coach Steve Holland has revealed that the squad are "focused" on the domestic run-in and is pleased to have everyone back together. He said: "It's nice to be together again, having had a couple of weeks with all the players away and representing their various different countries.
"We've got an important run-in to go, so it's important to get the group together again and really focus on that."
Here, rounds up all the latest news emerging from Old Trafford.

United are intent on pursuing a move for Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson at the earliest possible opportunity. According to Fabrizio Romano, the club are eager to bring in a replacement for Casemiro - and potentially other departing players - through the door.
United are reportedly seeking two midfielders and appear increasingly well-placed to offer prospective signings Champions League football next season. Reports indicate that the club are preparing an ambitious move for Anderson in a bid to pip rivals Manchester City to his signature.
However, a bid approaching £100million may be required to persuade Forest into sanctioning a deal. With the World Cup taking place in the summer, United will be eager to conclude the transfer to prevent the valuation from increasing further.

With the potential arrival of players like Anderson, opportunities emerge for overlooked stars to seek new clubs. One such out-of-favour player is Manuel Ugarte, who has drawn attention from multiple sides.
Aston Villa have been identified as one side monitoring the Uruguayan midfielder, according to Sky Sports. Juventus and Newcastle are also interested as Ugarte appears destined to leave Old Trafford after merely two seasons.
The 24-year-old has featured for just 915 minutes of football this campaign, making seven Premier League starts and 14 substitute appearances. United have attached a valuation of approximately £35m to the midfielder, and it is understood that serious negotiations could begin as early as May.
