Everton are said to be monitoring Southampton’s Leo Scienza ahead of the summer transfer window.
David Moyes is understood to want a new forward this summer, as well as a right-back and a centre-back as matters of priority.
It’s a huge window for the Toffees, who may well be preparing to play in Europe.
Which of these players do you want to see Everton SIGN in 2026?

At the moment, they’re in eighth and are actually just three points off the Champions League places.
So there’s a genuine chance, and European football would obviously increase the need for a bigger squad.
And it looks like Everton have their eyes on Leo Scienza, but competition for the Brazilian’s signature is fierce.

In recent weeks, Everton have been linked with several players from the Championship.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Hayden Hackney, Femi Azeez and Zan Vipotnik have all been linked with Everton, with David Moyes perhaps feeling there is real value to be had with second-tier players.
According to ESPN Brasil though, Scienza is another player Everton are looking at. He is the second player from Southampton to be linked with Everton in the space of a few days, after Shea Charles.
The Brazilian has enjoyed a great season, scoring nine goals and making eight assists in 38 appearances for the Saints.
He’s played a big part in their push for promotion, and his efforts haven’t gone unnoticed.
ESPN say that Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Fulham and Leeds United are all looking at Scienza – who was Player of the Match in Southampton’s shock FA Cup win over Arsenal – as well as Everton.
Indeed, the Daily Echo gave him a 9/10 for his performance, saying that he ‘terrorised’ Ben White.
A Jack Grealish alternative?
Everton’s interest in Scienza is intriguing, because the club are said to be in talks to keep Jack Grealish for next season.
Everton want him back and Grealish is also thought to be keen to return.
But there still needs to be an agreement between Everton and Manchester City, and it’s not guaranteed one will be reached.
Perhaps Scienza could be an alternative to Grealish for Everton, since he has a similar profile.

Scienza has played mostly from the left side so far this season for Southampton, but can also play in central areas.
He is also described by WhoScored as ‘someone who gets fouled often’, which is something Grealish is famed for.
The South American brings flair and creativity, and has the potential to make things happen in and around the final third.
