Crystal Palace have one foot in the last four of the UEFA Conference League after an impressive 3-0 win over Fiorentina.
Jean-Philippe Mateta put the Eagles ahead at Selhurst Park before goals from Tyrick Mitchell and Ismaila Sarr followed, on what was a historic night for Crystal Palace in SE25.
Marc Guehi paid a visit to Copers Cope in the build-up to the match, and another former Eagle in Eberechi Eze has now entered the scene after sending a message to Mateta on Instagram following the result.
Eberechi Eze left dazzled after Crystal Palace thump Fiorentina
After the France international posted about the special night on Instagram, the Arsenal No.10 and former Crystal Palace star Eze appeared in the comments section.
The England international simply posted three heart-eye emojis (πππ) to express his delight at the result, clearly pleased to see his former teammates shining in Europe.
Matheus Franca β who is struggling on loan at Vasco da Gama β also responded, posting six of the same emoji to congratulate Mateta.
Two other Crystal Palace players currently away from SE25 on loan replied too in the form of David Ozoh and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.
The latter wrote βmy guyβ in response to Mateta, while Ozoh β who is impressing at Derby β simply posted βJPβ to acknowledge the Frenchman.
Others such as Jorgen Strand Larsen and Eddie Nketiah were seen to have given the post a βlikeβ as well, along with Joel Ward and Adam Wharton.

It was a night where the Crystal Palace No.14 partly redeemed himself after attempting to leave Selhurst Park in the winter transfer window, although he still ought to have done better with several chances, namely the header at the Holmesdale Road end and his effort just before Mitchell followed in.
Nevertheless, Mateta clearly remains a popular figure at Crystal Palace, and will cement that status even more if he helps Oliver Glasner win the UEFA Conference League.
