Another midfielder is going to be added, by all accounts, and one of the names we’re starting to hear a lot is Angelo Stiller of Stuttgart. The 25 year old will be available for something above €50m, and Premier League teams are getting into gear. His contract runs until the summer of 2028.
Chelsea join big boys in race for Germany star
SportBild are reporting that Chelsea have “entered the race” for the deep lying playmaker, who now has seven caps for Germany. As his profile has grown, so have the standards of his suitors. Real Madrid and Man U are now being mentioned, as well as the Blues.
We’ve heard a lot about the idea that Chelsea will be targeting Premier League experienced players this summer – will they forgo Stiller based on that? We wouldn’t expect so. He’s played 21 times in European football in his career.
