We are now less than two weeks away from the NFL Draft, where the Las Vegas Raiders are highly expected to select Fernando Mendoza before an unpredictable class to follow.
And while much of the conversations around the NFL is currently draft-related, there has still been plenty of news around the league including a former Seattle Seahawks player being shot in the stomach. The former Nebraska safety is said to be recovering in hospital after his reported involvement in a love triangle.

Meanwhile, the Department of Justice has opened an investigation into the league after a long-standing exemption on their television deals over the years.

The DoJ has announced it has begun investigating the NFL as to whether their television distribution model has crossed boundaries at the expense of fans.
The NFL's television contracts will be looked into amid the subscription costs rocketing over recent years, with fans needing to have multiple different accounts to watch all the game.
A government official told ABC News the investigation is straightforward in its intent. "This is about affordability and creating an even playing field for providers."
Cost to watch each NFL game revealed
If you're an NFL fan in the United States, you have to pay significantly more than those around the world - while now needing a whopping 10 different subscriptions throughout the year.
To watch all NFL games this season, fans will need subscriptions for Netflix, Prime Video, NFL Network, NBC, FOX, CBS, ESPN+, Paramount+, YouTube TV and NFL Sunday Ticket.
And to have accounts on all of these platforms, it is revealed that you'll have to pay over $1,000. Meanwhile, fans in the UK and across Europe can access every game on platforms such as DAZN - which shows every game - for around $200.
Former Seattle Seahawks star shot in love triangle incident

Former Seahawks star Rickey Thenarse was shot in the stomach in Los Angeles last weekend after reportedly being involved in an incident with his girlfriend and the father of her child.
TMZ has reported that people fled the scene after a shooting involving a black SUV last Friday, with Thenarse being taken to hospital after suffering injuries.
No-one has been arrested as of Friday, with police chiefs in south Los Angeles investigating the incident.
