New Orleans traded impending free agent Rashid Shaheed to the Seattle Seahawks at the trade deadline and has yet to find a proper replacement. While Devaughn Vele had his moments last year, he’s better suited for a depth role than a starting spot.

On the one hand, the Arizona State product offers elite physical traits and the ability to line up at all three receiver positions. He already boasts an impressive route tree, soft hands, and should immediately start for this organization. However, he has an extensive injury history and may not be able to handle the physical punishment of life in the NFL.
If injuries weren’t such a concern, Jordyn Tyson would probably be the unquestioned top receiver in this draft class. However, his inability to stay on the field cannot be ignored, which makes him one of the most high-risk, high-reward players in this draft.
