The Indianapolis Colts are coming off a season that started red hot, going 8-2 through their first 10 games of the year. Unfortunately, a Daniel Jones ACL tear in December combined with a complete late-season collapse saw their season come to an end with an 8-9 record. Ending the year on a seven game losing streak was a tough pill to swallow.
Now, the team has announced that they will be moving on from one of their best defenders. Here are the details.

Indianapolis Colts Agree To Trade Star Cornerback
According to Ari Meirov of the 33rd Team:
Just in: TheColts and Pro Bowl CB Kenny Moore will part ways after nine seasons and the team is looking for a trade partner, perAdam Schefter.
Moore, long considered one of the best slot corners in football, started 111 games during his time in Indianapolis.
Moore actually joined the league as an un-drafted free agent out of Valdosta State University. His first contract was with the News England Patriots, but would eventually be released during the final roster cuts.
The very next day Kenny Moore signed with the Colts and never looked back. He would spend the next nine seasons in Indianapolis, turning into one of the heartbeats of their defense. While the 30-year-old pro bowl cornerback likely still has a lot to offer a team going into the 2026 season, many analysts project his trade value as a day three (rounds 5-7) draft pick.
That is music to many teams’ ears who have needs in their secondary.
