Roger Goodell has gone viral for his statements about San Francisco’s head coach Kyle Shanahan on Friday. The NFL’s commissioner didn’t back down when presented with Shanahan’s complaint about playing overseas in Australia.
In fact, the commissioner took exception to nearly every point Kyle Shanahan made. Below is the video.

Roger Goodell Rips 49ers’ Head Coach Kyle Shanahan For Complaining About Overseas Trip

“His job is to win. His job is to play. … We’ll make it a great experience for the team.”
Goodell added he can send Shanahan an app to help with jet lag.
“I have not felt any jet lag at all. I thought it was a relatively easy trip.” (via@ESPNAusNZ)

Goodell has also hinted that the league could add another regular season game in Australia as soon as next year. It is no secret that league is trying to expand each and every year to all parts of the world. It is clear that the NFL’s product has an interest in countries world wide, even in countries where soccer reigns supreme.
