Manchester United are reportedly ready to make a 'serious' move to appoint Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique, and a big update on his future has now emerged from journalist Fabrice Hawkins.
The Red Devils could be in the market for a new manager in the summer, with Michael Carrick's deal expiring after he signed a contract until the end of the season.
Carrick has a strong chance of securing the job on a permanent basis after an impressive few months in charge, but INEOS might be looking to add more of an experienced manager.
Carrick has minimal experience as a manager and his most recent job before United was with Championship side Middlesbrough, which could tempt the Manchester club to go in a different direction.
