Cornerbacks who flip games do not last long in the shadows. Splash plays travel fast, especially in New England, where defensive backs are expected to take the ball away and finish the job.
That is why Jack Jones never blended in. From his first snap, the instincts popped. The ball seemed to find him. The end zone did too. And that’s where the intrigue begins.

Jack Jones has recorded four career pick-sixes against four different quarterbacks between October 2, 2022, and November 3, 2024. The feat spanned his time with the New England Patriots and the Las Vegas Raiders, making it one of the more unusual defensive streaks in recent NFL history.
13 days till the NFL Draft.
The New England Patriots drafted Jack Jones in the 4th round (No. 121 overall) in 2022.

On October 2, 2022, Jones jumped on a miscommunication from Aaron Rodgers and raced 40 yards to the house at Lambeau Field. It was not just a turnover. It was a statement. Few defenders ever pick off Rodgers for six. Jones did it in his fourth career game.
The run did not stop there. Fast forward to December 14, 2023, and Jones struck again, this time against Easton Stick while playing for Las Vegas. A week later, on Christmas Day, he picked off Patrick Mahomes and took it back, adding a signature moment against one of the league’s best. Then came November 3, 2024, when Joe Burrow became the fourth victim, with Jones returning it 29 yards for another score.
That is the thing about Jones. The highs are undeniable. Four different quarterbacks. Four trips to the end zone. And not just any names—Rodgers, Mahomes, and Burrow headline that list. Those are franchise-altering players.
The New England Patriots selected Jones in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, No. 121 overall. His rookie flashes hinted at a long-term role in the Patriots’ system.
Following a stint in Las Vegas, Jones joined the Miami Dolphins for the 2025 season. Defensive touchdowns swing games, and Jones has shown he can deliver them in bunches. Teams do not teach that instinct. They either trust it or move on.
Looking ahead, consistency will define the next chapter. After appearing in 17 games for Miami in 2025 and tallying a career-high 77 tackles, the 28-year-old is slated to become an unrestricted free agent. If he can match discipline with production, he may land yet another opportunity as one of the NFL’s most dangerous ballhawks.
Four pick-sixes against four quarterbacks is not luck. It is a pattern, and the league is still trying to figure it out.
