Packers trade details: WR Dontayvion Wicks sent to the Philadelphia Eagles

The Green Bay Packers have traded wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks, who was on the final year of his rookie contract going into the 2026 season, to the Philadelphia Eagles for a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 sixth-round pick, [according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter](https://x.com/AdamSchefter/status/2042702494845817209). Wicks has also agreed to a one-year, $12.5 million extension with the Eagles, per reports.

Of the Packers’ top seven receivers, five of them were going into contract years in 2026: Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Wicks, Bo Melton and Skyy Moore. Without Wicks, Green Bay’s top receivers going into the draft are Watson, 2025 first-round pick Matthew Golden, Reed, Wicks, Melton, Moore and 2025 third-round pick Savion Williams.

The Packers, down a first-round pick in the 2026 draft from the Micah Parsons trade, will now have two draft picks in the fifth round. They also have a second pick in the seventh round from the compensatory draft pick system, which awarded them for losing center Josh Myers in free agency last offseason. Otherwise, they own their original draft picks in 2026.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network has clarified that the fifth-round pick that the Packers will get in the upcoming draft was originally the Atlanta Falcons’ fifth-round pick, the 153rd overall pick in the class. Below is an update of Green Bay’s draft choices in 2026:

* 2nd - #52

* 3rd - #84

* 4th - #120

* 5th - #153 (via Eagles, Wicks trade)

* 5th - #160

* 6th - #201

* 7th - #236

* 7th - #255 (compensatory pick, Myers)

Next year, here are the picks that the Packers are scheduled to have:

* 2nd

* 3rd

* 4th (via Cowboys, Rashan Gary trade)

* 4th

* 4th (comp pick, Malik Willis)

* 4th (comp pick, Romeo Doubs)

* 5th

* 5th (comp pick, Quay Walker)

* 6th (via Eagles, Wicks trade)

* 6th (comp pick, Kingsley Enagbare)

* 7th

The Packers don’t have their own 2027 first-round pick because of the Micah Parsons trade, and they don’t have their own seventh-round pick because of the Darian Kinnard trade. While the Packers’ comp pick for Malik Willis in 2027 is currently projected to be a fourth-round pick on [Over the Cap](https://overthecap.com/compensatory-picks), it’s highly likely that it converts into a third-round pick after Willis earns playing time.
