**FITNESS UPDATE**

Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard picked up fresh issues that will need assessing before the weekend. Piero Hincapie (unspecified) and Mikel Merino (foot) are definitely out of contention for the Gunners, while there are also no guarantees over the availability of Riccardo Calafiori (unspecified), Bukayo Saka (unspecified) or Jurrien Timber (groin) either. Eberechi Eze (calf) is available again.

**OPINION**

Due to the uncertainty over Timber’s fitness, the decision will be to reluctantly start White – who has looked unconvincing lately – at right-back again. The same can be said about Lewis-Skelly, who might get the nod at left-back if Calafiori and Hincapie are both unfit.

Odegaard’s absence and Eze’s potential lack of full fitness should give us the chance to see Max Dowman in the number 10 role, where he looked the most dangerous against Southampton last weekend.

Saka’s continued injury lay-off means the ocassionally frustrating Madueke will get another chance along with Martinelli on the other flank.

**PREDICTED LINE-UP**

Raya

White – Gabriel – Saliba – Lewis-Skelly

Zubimendi – Rice

Dowman

Madueke – Gyokeres – Martinelli
