Leny Yoro's sends Instagram message that could be strong response to Paul Scholes jibe

Leny Yoro has been brilliant for Manchester United since getting a starting line-up place under Michael Carrick, but not everyone is impressed.

Despite Leny Yoro exciting Manchester United figures and earning comparisons to world-class defenders, Paul Scholes is yet to be convinced.

Earlier this week, Scholes said he would sell Yoro, along with Patrick Dorgu, explaining his decision, the United legend admitted he doesn’t understand potential.

“I think he’s struggled, me,” he said. “I think there’s something in there, I think he needs a bit of time, but if you had to make a choice now, I’d probably sell him.”

Now, Yoro might have just sent a clear response.

Leny Yoro sends a cryptic message that could be Paul Scholes response

On Friday, Yoro took to his Instagram account with a message that can be interpreted as a direct response to Scholes.

Yoro wrote, “Where I’m meant to be” with the hashtag, “#GodDid”.

This seems to be a clear response to Scholes, with Yoro telling him that he belongs at Old Trafford.

Yoro is expected to become an elite defender, and most of the fanbase and former players can see it.

While Rio Ferdinand says Yoro will become the best in the world, and he is a better judge than Scholes.

There is no guarantee this is what Yoro meant, but the timing and message make it seem like this is likely somewhat the motivation.

What are your expectations for Leny Yoro’s Man Utd career?

Yoro’s response is perfect, because he does belong at United and he’ll be at the club for years to come, with the Scholes stance likely to go down as his latest error of judgement.

Scholes is also an avid hater of Lisandro Martinez, which should prove to Yoro that this isn’t personal or worth paying any attention to.

On current form, Yoro is a starter for United, and he shows no sign of taking a step backwards, which should see the French defender get even better in the next few months.

Yoro is the future and also present for United, so we will be awaiting Scholes’ backpedalling over his stance on Yoro in the not too distant future.
