Liam Rosenior is approaching a huge few weeks in his job as Chelsea manager, although club legend John Terry has not been impressed by a recent decision made by the boss.
Rosenior is facing an uphill battle to secure a place in the top five in the Premier League and their spot in next season’s Champions League.
There will be internal hope that Aston Villa win the Europa League, which could allow six English sides to qualify to play amongst Europe’s elite.

John Terry ‘gutted’ at Enzo Fernandez missing Chelsea vs Man City
Chelsea likely need to secure a result against Manchester City this weekend, however will be going into the game without Enzo Fernandez after his recent suspension.
Terry has spoken about Chelsea’s chances in the game, and stated on his TikTok page that he doesn’t understand the reasoning behind the Argentine’s internal ban.

He said: “But obviously we miss the game with Enzo, who missed the Port Vale game in the FA Cup. I never really understand this, to be honest. He’s been one of our best players this season.
“He fights for the shirt. And I just think these issues can be dealt with internally because it feels like the only team that loses out in these instances are Chelsea.
“We go without one of our best players and captain or vice-captain for a really big game and an important part of the season. So I’m gutted he’s not playing. Hopefully we can still do the job without him.”
Fernandez was clearly not needed during the 7-0 win in the FA Cup against Port Vale, but would have been a certainty to start after scoring against City earlier this season.

Fernandez’s return date currently unconfirmed
Despite reported calls from Chelsea players to get Rosenior to overturn Fernandez’s ban, he will not be part of the matchday squad this weekend.
The boss refused to confirm he would be back to face Manchester United either, insisting there are still some issues which need ironing out.
Until then, it is likely going to be a combination of Andrey Santos and Romeo Lavia starting games alongside Moises Caicedo.
Having the Belgian back to full fitness has been a major boost for the Blues in terms of quality in the middle of the park in the absence of Fernandez.
